The Sony A7 MK III is equipped with a new dual-chip Bionz XR processor, which allows for faster autofocus/auto-exposure as well as high bitrate 4K video capture.

The camera offers both Long GOP and All-Intra compression, with a maximum bit rate of 600Mbps. It can record 10-bit 4:2:2 footage, and both S-Log2/3 and HLG are supported.

Supporting the extensive Sony E mount lens range, the AF system is еquiрpеd with іnсrеdіblе rеаl-tіmе еуе trасkіng оf bоth humаnѕ аnd аnіmаlѕ when in both vіdео аnd ѕtіllѕ mode. Its new flip out rotatable screen is extremely useful when using the touch auto-focus feature.

Sony have also introduced a full sized HDMI port for improved cable connectivity and allowing the option to utilise the cameras 16bit RAW recording output.

The menu system has been completely redesigned making this system more intuitive than its predecessors.
