The Laowa Macro Probe is a new lens by Venus Optics. The lens offers a revolutionary new perspective on the macro world, with extremely close focus capability (2cm @ 2:1) combined with a wide-angle view so more background details can be included in the shots.
The lens barrel is 40cm long, allowing the operator to focus extremely close to the subject while keeping at a distance. The front of the lens is also designed to be waterproof, and a dimmable LED ring light is mounted at the tip of the lens. It can cover both standard 35mm full frame & Super35 image sensor.
